"Visited with friends and ordered a range of dishes: chicken karaage, prawn gyoza, bulgogi don, chicken katsu set, chicken katsu curry, yuzu lemon soda, and the matcha cloud. The prawn gyoza was a highlight. It was hot, fresh, and full of flavour. The chicken karaage was decent, though a few pieces were on the tougher side. The chicken katsu set was nicely presented and crispy, but I found it a little bland and thought it would benefit from more sauce or a small side of soy sauce. Friends enjoyed their bulgogi don and katsu curry. Portion sizes were very generous, especially for the price point. The yuzu lemon soda was refreshing with a strong citrus taste. The matcha cloud was tasty, though it didn’t have much of a matcha flavour, and it tasted like earl grey. Still very enjoyable, just not quite what we expected. The only real downside was that all the entrees and mains arrived together which made the table feel quite cramped and a bit overwhelming. It would’ve been much nicer if dishes had been spaced out a little."

Wait times were so quick, my cousin and I were both shocked that the food came out only minutes after our drinks were served. I couldn’t get the name of the gentleman but he had glasses and wore a grey shirt. He took our order, and had such a great welcoming smile. Thank you Kou ramen. for the wonderful dining experience.
